Why doesn't everyone agree with me?

Ever think that? I mean, forum life would be sooooo much easier - far less arguing, debating and general discord. I would have far less thinking and research to do. I have concluded that, if there is going to be unity, then it might as well begin with me. So, everyone, I am ready for your agreement!

Anyone know where the :tongueincheek: emoticon is?
 
I, for one, think everybody is entitled to my opinion 🤓

@po18guy. Your post reminds me in a good-natured way of a country song I heard on a local radio station from a decade or so ago by Toby Keith, I think. Part of its includes, “I want to talk about me, I want to talk about I, I want to talk about number 1, oh me my…” or words to that effect.

I joked with my son once that if I met a certain celebrity I would ask him if he wanted my autograph.

Funny you should mention that. There is a fairly well-known Seattle-area rapper and he, wife and baby entered the restaurant that DW and I were having lunch in. Sadly, I have become a rather macabre type of ‘rock star’ - in the cancer world.

Anyway, as we were just a few blocks from Fred Hutchinson, I remarked to DW that I was going to ask him, “Say, I heard that you wanted a picture with me…”

DW put a quick end to that.

I’d like everybody to agree with me when I’m right. Of course that is most of the time. I do recall one time, however, when I thought I was wrong. . .but I was right.

Actually since I enjoy a good (I said GOOD) argument, people can disagree with me, but after I present my side (the right side), THEN they should agree with me.
 
I remember once reading a sign in one of my coworker’s cubicles at work that said, “I would agree with you but then we’d both be wrong”.

I got a kick out of that.
