Note that this question isn’t asking “why doesn’t Jesus heal?”. I know Jesus has healed, and that He has the power to heal, however I particularly have never received any form of healing whatsoever from Jesus Christ. Whether it be a papercut, or something more severe, Jesus never intervenes. I know He hears me, I know Mary and Joseph hear me, alongside all of the other saints, and yet not a single snowflake falls in the sky for my sake. If I were in a ditch and my Savior was directly above me, I’m honestly unsure if He’d rescue me. It just feels so saddening and disappointing that He never heals me. I’m planning on fasting in hopes that this does something (pray that I can maintain it), however the chances are seeming very slim.
So, with that said, why do you think Jesus never heals me? Am I in a state of grave sin? Have I been cursed, etc etc? What reasons does Jesus usually ignore people for? Why does He even do this? I feel as though everything I have in life I got it on my own, and I hate it. I want to truly have faith that I achieved everything through and with God. I want to be reliant on Him and give Him glory, but if I were to tell you that I genuinely believe Christ has been helping me, I’d be a liar. Thank you.
God Bless.
