Why doesn't John's Gospel have the Transfiguration?

About ten years ago, I joined a bible study at my parish. Revelation was the topic and the study was Catholic Scripture Study. It was my first bible study and it was overwhelming but I did stick with it.
I’ll check out the Ignatius Study Bible. Thanks for the suggestion.
