Any chance you can provide links that actually work, so the rest of us have a chance to review the information and respond to your claims here?
Steve, most of the links are not even controversial. The second one isn’t his political views. It’s that the USCCB administrative channel members shouldn’t be dealing with certain abortion front groups that deal with anti-catholic stuff like gay rights groups, and abortion, Center for Community faith!
If you mean opposing abortion and gay marriage and bad community organizers who promote this stuff, then okay?? What does that have to do with Voris’ own political views?
I have regarded how I want education policy implemented a personal view.
I never regarded being against gay marriage & abortion, my own
personal political view.

Again, I think people are making too much of his Vortexes.
It’s almost akin to commentary or criticism you see on Lifesite news, or NCRegister.
I don’t like NCregister .
So why should Voris be held any different when he remarks on Bishop actions and the Democrat party connectiongs like Lifesite warning about the Catholics for the Common Good or whatever.
If you did not see the first video. That is the only imprudent video Voris did.

He tried to make a point aobut the pratfalls of Democracy in regard to , an immoral populace.
The only part where he stepped in it, was suggesting the Benevolent Dictatorship, to make a point regarding protection against nonsense we are seeing today that happens when you have an immoral Republic. Not that he wants it to happen, he says God isn’t about saving nations.
People now use that to smear MV and RCTV as actually wanting a Catholic Monarch for this country. It’s par for course in this media/internet day and age. We are just lucky MV target is lay Catholics. Not approval from the liberals or whatever.
Voris was better off quoting De Toqueville, to criticize America, concerning when the US ceases to be a "GOOD " country in populace.
Or Fr. Robert Barron who made a point about not turning away from God in one of his video blogs.
In videos posted on the Internet, Mr. Voris makes comments that certainly can be interpreted as being insensitive to people of other faiths. The Catholic Church teaches us to respect all people, regardless of their faith tradition.
This isn’t an authoritative statement. One can say, Any Catholic TEACHING about the faith, my posting of priests videos regarding, is insensitive.
The Catholic Truth of the Church IS INSENSITIVE or offense to other people, and can be misinterpreted as disrespect.
Saying Jesus is the way, the truth and the light, can be construed as Disrespectful.
All this handwringing about Voris is disproportional to whatever legitimate criticisms there are against his apostalate. He is just a lay catholic!
I have gripes with Bill Donahue and some biases of NCR and some public Catholic personalities. But I don’t go out of my way, if I think they are doing it wrong. I pray for them.
Although the Diocese shares Mr. Voris’ support of efforts to protect human life, his extreme positions on other faiths are not appropriate and therefore the Diocese cannot host him.

Smells like political correct speech & cowardice. Better cancel St. Thomas Aquinas’ scheduled appointment, as well as tell Pope Urban he is not welcome in the Diocese of Scranton anymore.
Pope Urban II:
…a race from the kingdom of the Persians, an accursed race, a race utterly alienated from God, a generation forsooth which has not directed its heart and has not entrusted its spirit to God, has invaded the lands of those Christians and has depopulated them by the sword, pillage and fire; it has led away a part of the captives into its own country, and a part it has destroyed by cruel tortures; it has either entirely destroyed the churches of God or appropriated them for the rites of its own religion… What shall I say of the abominable rape of the women? To speak of it is worse than to be silent.
