Thanks. The Pastor of the Catholic center weighed in last night in three long posts and pretty much squashed her down in a very polite, but effective way. I plan on speaking with him privately about the situation when he gets back from vacation next week. I have also consulted with a couple of people in the parish who are considering options for bringing this to the pastor’s attention. He is new (less than three weeks) so no one is too sure how he will respond to such things or what type of personality he is when it comes to confrontation.Jwinch2,
I would be bugged. Hence my orginal reply to you. I would talk to your pastor about it. If you have a problem, I would even approach the Bishop after everything has been exhuasted. At least you are getting the truth out there. And that is good.
I will be praying for this situation. Keep me updated with it as new things develop. You are more than welcome to PM me if you wish.
God bless.
I have a tendency to argue and to seek out confrontation when I get my back up so I have to be careful. Unfortunately, I am very good at both. With that in mind, I spent a good deal of time yesterday asking God if this is what he wants me to do. Am I supposed to fight these things when I see them? Does He want me to engage on this or just live my faith? Its hard to know, when it is so easy to cross over into sinning in situations like this.
I appreciate the help and prayers!
