Accuracy in Reporting of Israel/Palestine

http://www.ifamericansknew.org/images/net-fig16.gif

…The networks’ coverage of children’s deaths was even more skewed. In the first year of the current uprising, ABC, CBS, and NBC reported Israeli children’s deaths at 13.8, 6.4, and 12.4 times the rate of Palestinian children’s deaths.

In 2004 these large differentials were also present, although they decreased in two cases, with deaths of Israeli children covered at rates 9.0, 12.8, and 9.9 times greater than the deaths of Palestinian children by ABC, CBS, and NBC, respectively.

Given that in 2004 22 times more Palestinian children were killed than Israeli children, this category holds particular importance. We could find no basis on which to justify this inequality in coverage.

Would you be willing to make a sacrifice if you could protect the lives of all these children that are being killed?

What anyone needs to do to save innocent lives is give up killing. What needs to be sacrificed is the urge to kill, the urge to take revenge. It may sound too simple, but that is the key.

All the killing is what leads to the death of innocents. If the killing is stopped, the innocents have a chance to live. This is why in an earlier post I wrote that those that kill need to learn to love their children more than they hate their enemies.

When any terrorist kills, there is almost always a counterstrike. So the choice to kill always carries the risk that even someone near and dear to the terrorist may be the victim of the counterstrike. When someone will risk those innocent lives, even their own family, in order to strike others, there is something very wrong.

Stop the killing, give up the urge for revenge. When will someone try that strategy?

Did the Holocaust happened? One thing is sure, I KNOW it did. All my sympathy and respect to those who suffered and died.

I don’t care what the muslims or the nazis says. I stand with the twelve tribes of Israel.

I believed they are Chosen to reveal God’s Mighty Presence. Chosen to show God’s Awesome Power.Chosen to bring forth all the True Prophets of God,(Yes the True ones only) Chosen to reveal all His Words, Chosen to bring forth The Messiah.

Is it not obvious that the enemy of God - satan and his heretic religion wants them destroyed? If that happens our God has no one to fulfill His covenant with and will be reduce to a liar simply because He fail to keep His promise to the Jews.

But the Good Thing is He has Kept THIS Promise:

"I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land I have given them,"says the LORD your God. Amos 9:15

I say Never again Israel, never again!!!

“May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.” Genesis 27:29

For God decreed,

“For whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye”
Zechariah 2:8

Hey do you think all your nations are strong enough to mess with the God of Israel?

I have read in multiple places that the Muslim community believes that the Holocaust never even happened. I recently received an email saying that the UK is debating taking out the Holocaust from its school system because it offends Muslims. Why would they deny something that obviously occurred?
The Muslims and Nazzi’s are correct for not believing in the Holocaust. Holocaust is a holy sacrificial victim offered up to God. Muslims and Nazzi’s will not accept the killing of ??million Jews as a holy sacrifice victim (Holocaust) offering made unto God, they killed them or want to destroy them because of their prejudices against Jews, not to offer them up as a holy sacrificed victim unto God.

Maybe show the nazzi’s and muslims film, and actual burial sites of the Jewish and Catholic Holocaust, and ask them after they view the evidence, do you want to kill more Jews? and do you believe now these Jews and Catholics were merciless murdered?

Just an opinion

here is a website with some reasons why people believe the way they do about the holocaust…

i hope this helps…

Don’t you find it strange the holocaust is not up for debate? Just like 1984, questioning the Holocaust is a thought crime in of itself. Those that question it are automatically labeled anti-semetic. I feel the argument should be heard from both sides and evaluated on its merits. But from what I see and hear, it is one side which dictates to us the events and doesn’t leave any room for anyone to question or challenge.

There is something fundamentally wrong with this view.

For the record, I’m not saying it didn’t happen and I don’t deny it happened, but I’d like to hear the debate. And in all honesty it’s not a topic that I invested any time researching. I’ve always accepted it and sympathized with the Jews that had to suffer through it.

But you know what I really don’t understand? it’s how an ethnic group can go through the terrible cruelties of the Holocaust, and then turn around and inflict similar cruelties on the Palestinians.

here’s what I’m talking about

You raise valid points. My answer to the first is that the discussion from those who question it is always that either it did not happen or that the scale is absurdly small. It is not like some people hold that the number was 1 million vs 6 million, but that it was 50,000 (or none at all) vs 6 million.

The second is that it is human nature to forget the past or to rationalize your sins away. I do not think that what the Israelies are doing is the same, but I cannot deny that there have been human rights violations.

Some ignorant Muslims may. Like that Cardinal. There is no Islamic theological or legal principal which would preclude Muslims from recognizing a historical happening backed by overwhelming evidence. In fact many brave Muslims, like many brave Christians, of the region helped Jews escape.
