Why don't priests explain the concept of origional sin clearly

all origional sin is physical death and spiritual death. Because of the fall we will all die spiritually and physically.

Because of Christ and his resurrection, we will all be resurrected.
Because of Christ and his atonement, we can all be forgiven of our sins.

Why would you expect Catholic priests to explain the LDS version of Original Sin, clearly or otherwise?? 🤷
 
The ressurection was part of the Jewish faith prior to Christ. What we gain from him is entry to heaven, a restoration of right standing with God, and the Church.

Thinking on something said at Mass? Or using the word “priest”, in a general sense?
