That kind of experience Lights up the Heart of person. Shell of blindness drops down and shatter in a dust. Who was blessed with Love only once is changed forever. Why are only some people are Blessed like that? I know God wants us to learn and choose to Love Him on our own, but doesn’t he give certain advantage to some people, and sometimes great sinners, to miraculously convert while many diligent Catholics are left “alone” for their whole life? Is receiving such a Gift a God’s call to convert? Why doesn’t He Bless then all people so all people may convert and Believe??
Or does He chose only certain ones and with Great Gift comes even greater Responsibility? To follow and proclaim and sacrifice so much that other souls could not handle??

My Lord and my God

I think that a mystical/religious experience would cause some of us more harm than good. We’re not all made the same way. What is helpful and encouraging for one person is not helpful and encouraging for another.

Kind of like Praise and Worship music. For some people, it grates on their nerves and completely obliterates any possibility of worshiping the Lord Jesus. But for other people, it helps them to block out the world and concentrate deeply on worshiping the Lord Jesus.

We’re all created uniquely by our God!

I think God gives us exactly what we need to grow to love him more. For some, a spiritual experience is what is needed. For others, it may cause pride or not be helpful at all. Kind of like money. Money is not evil. Many wealthy people are virtuous, but money has also corrupted plenty. I think the same.could be true of things like what you describe.

God provides those experiences sparingly and only where he thinks it is needed for the development of faith.

Those of us with strong faith don’t need a mystical experience to know God is near. We are not “left alone” just because we aren’t having mystical experiences.
