Why God gives gift of immediate conversion?

Does He want to send that person on a special mission?
Or is it just because the person wanted it strong enough and now it can just be “normal” person of faith?
Or something else?
 
Is person obliged to do something for such a.great gift or accept it with gratitude and move on?
 
Some are ready to immediately follow God, others in increments.

Live a good Catholic life as a practicing Catholic. Be an example for others.
 
“Why God gives gift of immediate conversion?” - for the average person in life , it is for the salvation of their soul. Be converted, believe in the Good News.

For some, it may be that God does have a specific purpose for the life of this person, as he did with Saul/Paul.
