why has the catholic church not asked god's advice

Because that’s not how prayer works. A person cannot be paid to pray; that has no benefit.

If people apply prayer and scripture then yes, of course it would help.

How would this help manifest itself.

Shall we organise a facebook page to have everyone who is interested in stopping the killing all say a prayer at a specific day and time. What prayers would work and how many people would we need.

I meant the government could help organise. If one of the rules is non -payment - then so be it. You know more about this than others. Why are there no mass prayer meetings schedule already?

Yes, but in a different way than you would. Every person has to discover for themselves how to truly pray and connect with God; it cannot be truly taught. People can be helped along, but ultimately the relationship is between them and God.

Why are they not working. Surely if you have over a billion followers all praying that should be able enough for even the saving of some lives. Does god have a quota to reach?
