The Creed hasn’t really changed, its just been re-translated. The official language of the Church is Latin and all liturgies are published in Latin and then translated into various languages. The previous English translation of the Mass was viewed to be inadequate and so the the Church did a new translation of the Mass from Latin into English. The result is that the wording is slightly different from the previous translation.
