Hello We know and teach that all (entire) bread and all wine become Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. We also see that the matter get deteriorate after a time, how we must understand this, what part of what get deteriorate?

The bread is still bread in its ‘accidens’, its external appearance. As such, it ages in the way that normal, unconsecrated bread does.

the ‘substans’ or the true reality of the bread remains- that it is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ

Molecular structure is a part of acidens.

However, in some cases, both substans and acidens change, as in the miracle at Lanciano, among others

What about at the molecular level?
Yes. Physical accidents are physical accidents. Molecules make up the physical existence of any created thing.

And, the question that’s not yet been asked here, which is what I suspect is really being asked, is, “is the Eucharist still the Eucharist when the species ‘deteriorate’?”

The answer is “no” – once the species cease to be recognizable under their physical accidents, the Real Presence is no longer present.

I am talking about pre consecrated bread and wine. Obviously after consecration, the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ is consumed quickly- not stored for extended periods.

Communion wafers have a low moisture content, so they should have a good shelf life when stored correctly.

Wine is left to age as it’s made. Some wine even gets better with age. Wine has a pretty good shelf life too.

Is that what you were asking
