Immortal, I have no problem with people being attracted to people while single, but they should be attracted to only their partner (in my opinion) while in a relationship. I know this is an unusual viewpoint, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I agree that men and women can be friends

It’s the attraction itself that bothers me, I didn’t think Lukasz would cheat on me but it seemed inappropriate that he felt attraction towards others.
Thewanderer, based on talking to people it seems like we have the same definition

That is very important and I am willing to be with people despite their faults. In fact, I’d say I was pretty open minded. Most women I know like to be with a man who they think is good looking and who has a stable job and can provide for them. I did not find Lukasz good looking at all but fell for his beautiful soul. He was homeless and had no money and I had no problem with that. In fact, when I first started dating him, his hands were usually dirty - but shortly after I became his girlfriend, Lukasz stopped drinking and his hands were always clean
However, you see for me being attracted to other people is a dealbreaker. For some people, they do not like to be with a man who is sleeping with other women and they have that right to say, “I can accept certain faults, however this is a dealbreaker for me.” In my case I am quite accepting but the man’s attraction to others happens to be where I draw the line. Though you are quite right when you say that I am pretty “in love” with the glamour of a relationship - putting on nice makeup when you see the person, wearing something nice. But also invaluable is just spending time with them in GENERAL and feeling close to them and happy in their company
