Why I Fail in The New Evangelization

There is an aphorism rightly applied to success in The New Evangelization. They don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. The foundation for this is pure charity that must be rooted in the agape love of God. This agape we know from the cup declared in The Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed with God, Our Father. I am not willing to drink from this cup and fulfill my part in spreading The Good News. The Gospel message inflamed with love by The Holy Spirit does not resound from my lips which are not thirsting for the cup that Jesus brings forth. Paul speaks to us to incite the greater part of love, the way of charity, still I do not care. The worldly politics of hope entice my flesh turning my heart to stone around the seed of faith and I do not love. I have not purity and fail to search for redemption to free my soul and bring the salvation of Christ to fruition.

This is why I fail in The New Evangelization. Is it truly sloth? Do I speak blithely about acedia?

I fail to be certain. I do know that I care too much about myself but not in a proper manner that is built on a fulfilling relationship with The Lord, Our God. Does it matter if I care less for myself, or if I care less for any other person, if I do not follow the way of love, at all? Where is the fear of God that builds that wisdom that answers these preponderances with the good and the true?

Is the way of beauty, the same, some parallel or a separate way, altogether? I live with rose colored glasses when loving with The Rose Window is the perspective that I should know. How does one breath holiness? Would such be just a passing of wind on which the Spirit goes as it pleases? Where is the flame of the holy ones and Apostles that should burn from our lips like a well spring of hope, a living water of unimaginable beauty. It is the same cup that is the same way that is good and true and not a fantasy seen in a dark mirror. Jesus bears for us the real cup that truly grows and shrinks our person. The label that reads more fully, “Drink Me, I Thirst for Souls.”

When shall I go to the source and fill my longing with the wine of Cana and the living well. Then I may fulfill my role in The New Evangelization. Until that day, I fail to bear His sign and draw others unto the one pure master, Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

All glory and praise to Our Lord, Jesus Christ! Fill us with love to complete The New Evangelization.

Agape, like evangelisation, has to be done communally.

The fact that no-one is with us in it is not your fault or my fault UNLESS you and I haven’t bothered to pray that our brothers and sisters *would *be with us in it.

Evangelization does NOT have to be done communally, although it works best that way.

The theory that it works best communally is shown in the Gospel, in Christ’s picking the Apostles, and sending the disciples.

However, the role of discipleship was not because Evangelization lends itself to a communal necessity, but because Christ knew he would no always, physically, walk among men, and that with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, man would need to continue the preaching of the Good News of the Kingdom when Christ returned to be with the Father.

Had not a single disciple answered the call, certainly, Christ would have continued his mission of Evangelization alone, without a communal band of disciples.

Peace and all good!

When you speak to communally enlivened gospel as a theoretical treatise with linkage to the great cloud of witness that is somehow reduced to being inclusive in prayer while feeding the God who will not build our community without our idle chatter properly directed to forming an inclusive spirit what is the entailment that you proscribe? I see nothing but the petal of the chamber of the Sacred Heart where the philosophical minds are bent to the worldly forms and see not the true agape from the One True God. The drop of precious blood is not delectable through our willingness to be brothers unless we believe that Canonical law is to be fulfilled in our transient efforts. This would be more in line with a buddhist pledge of confraternity than with a soul who seeks Our Lord, Jesus Christ, present among us.

The key elements that I repeat are in the opening paragraph as the following antithesis:

Paul speaks to us to incite the greater part of love, the way of charity, still I do not care. The worldly politics of hope entice my flesh turning my heart to stone around the seed of faith and I do not love.

What is sown by this redacted matter hollows the sculpted cold head stone out of a body of flesh. The inflamed and enlivened matter is thrown to the ground where the birds and weeds destroy what has not been trampled. Perhaps Gaia is the patroness drawing about a circle of protection aglance that corps d’esprit? A caustic glance in such shallow glades.
