Why is Catholicism better?

Another thought came in this morning from a “self-conversation”:

**If **a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
**And **if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
  • Mark 3:24-25
If we look at the Protestant vs Catholic War of the Faiths, Protestantism is so scattered!
It broke from the Catholic Church and became nothing more than a house upon the sand
and scatters many more times by the clashing Sea of Religious Turbulence.

Is there only one sect of Lutheranism? What about the Methodists?
Is Presbyterianism One and Undivided? Pentecostalism? Wikipedia
presents a rather divided up house in Protestantism.You should see
the divisions of the Baptist Church.

Now I’m not saying numbers makes a religion true, but the Roman Catholic Church is
ONE and UNDIVIDED.Yes, she will have her troubles every so often, but there always
comes a resolve, and we continue as undivided.

So something that bothers me about Christianity is its monopoly on truth. Can anyone explain how this makes sense. I don’t take issue with you believing its true. I believe my own to be true but I’m also aware it is indeed a faith. I have found it to be true through spiritual experience but that can only apply, logically, for me.
Why the insistence that Christianity/Catholicism has it right?

(To clarify I’m not Wiccan and I have listed my religion specifically you can look it up its not too hard I promise!)

It all comes down to if you believe in the ONE GOD the Father Almighty creator of heaven and earth and follow him.

If you do you follow the ONE GOD. There is no other God but the One True God.

If you choose to follow another god it is a false god. That is what Jesus Christ tells us.

Because the word became flesh. God came to this earth in Human form, Died on the Cross and Rose again in fullfillment of the scriptures.

Anotherwards it was predicted in the Old Test. ANd fullfilled in the New.

Thousands of witness saw this and testified to it.

So without a doubt Jesus Christ is indeed the Son of God!

How do you feel it is outside of your fault? Are you saying you did not hear the good news of Christ and how he died for our sins so we could have eternal life in him?

I mean it is outside my fault if entities have lied about being Gods.

Jesus said you are either with me or against me. You choose to be against him. He loved you enough to give you the free will to do so.

Even though he is a jealous God does not mean he does not love us enough to give us the freedom to choose him.

He will never push himself on you, and he will never come into your life if you choose to reject him. But ironically if you ever do come to want him in your life no matter what you do if you want him, he will love you and forgive you no questions asked.

No, You were warned in the word of God. You are to test the spirit. There is the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of error who is satan and his demons.

Nothing benign. It has to be either a Divine Spirit or Demonic. God gave you free will to choose who you shall follow.

Sure, If they asked me… Read 1 John 4:1-3! Can’t say it any clearer then that!

There is only one true Spirit of truth that unites us not separates us.

What I can’t love and respect people because I don’t follow their faith? So then according to your teaching, if you don’t believe in the Catholic faith you have no respect for me either right??:confused:

Your not really respecting my faith very well which is the same as not respecting me. I respect Catholicism despite not being an adherent.
