Math isn’t even on the side of your fable. Muslim birth rates would have to be astronomical for your scary story to have any merit. YOu’re just trying to justify your clear contempt for Muslims, liberals and atheists. Not terribly Christian, so far as I can tell.
 
Oh, and by the way, if it’s scare stories about Muslim fertility, Iran has one of the most comprehensive family planning regimes in the world, with free birth control.
 
Not at all. There have been many women who have done a great deal apart from having children: Madame Curie, St Catherine of Siena, etc.

The Church does teach we must maintain the link between sex and babies, and that children need a lot of care. How that is arranged in the family is up to the family (subsidiarity).

There aren’t going to be a lot of Curies out there if the expectation is that Christian women are supposed to breed lots of babies.

And I will repeat, because some folks here seem to forget it, that there are a lot of Christians who are not Catholics, and do not view birth control the same way, and in fact there are no lack of Catholics that don’t view birth control the way the Church suggests it should.
 
Seems to me it comes down to choices.

My son, for example, makes a pretty good income. But if his wife worked outside the home, it would be significantly more. She’s a stay at home mom, with five children and one on the way. So it will be a long time before she will make any monetary contribution.

Their lifestyle doesn’t exactly revolve around children, but children are pervasive in it. My adult son is a pretty good golfer and tennis player and league football player. But on weekends, he doesn’t go out and do those things. Of the five children, four are boys, with the oldest being age six. On Saturdays, he goes out to the country with the boys. They swim in the summer, sled when it snows, build campfires, roam the woods, and tell stories in the winter. Oftentimes they and I go pick berries in season. That gives my son’s wife a break and the boys some major exercise. She and the oldest, a girl, do “girl things” together when the boys are gone, but sometimes they join “the boys” for swimming or berry-picking or sledding. The family has “family movie nights” on weekends, go to church functions with the kids. My son and his wife go out to eat maybe once every three to six months for special occasions, but not much else outside the home. His wife does sing in the church choir, and my son takes care of the kids when she goes to choir practice. That’s another “break” for mom.

It’s not an unpleasant life. For them it’s a happy life, even though their financial resources aren’t what they could be if they had one child or two and the mom worked outside the home. I grew up in a situation like my son’s myself, and so did my children. It’s just a different life. You either orient your life around family or you orient it around something else.
 
Assuming your theory is correct, there is a bigger lesson to take away. In the US, large numbers of people came from Latin America over the least few decades. They have a higher TFR, but over the 2nd and 3rd generation their TFR levels out near the national average.

Perhaps European countries are not adequately integrating 2nd and 3rd generating immigrants?
 
Why? Are you in Europe with no spouse? Is the purpose to ‘make’ many many ‘illegitimate’ children? But don’t worry… We are ALL illegitimate UNTIL we are made Legitimate… To God of course.

Because there is a news article that tells of how an I.sil. member, youth, under the age of 17 or so, had a direct hand on having his mother dragged out of her home to have her beheaded in the open square.

What is so Islam or Qur’an about that? Nothing… All lies using the name ‘Islam’.

Maybe, for some reason, we are becoming as ‘deranged’ persons. Why? People who have jobs and who are ‘hired’ and ‘employed’ as Professionals should be the ones who can give explanations and answers. So where are the explanations and answers?.

Why are the non employed citizens supposed to clean up their act but all the employed ones don’t have any true or real answers?


Do those that carry out these sorts of hurt towards other humans find these things ‘fun’??

If I could cause results based on my vengeance against ‘foreigners’ why wouldn’t any other group of people/persons be able to do the same? What I mean is, if the neighborhood I live in uses my ‘non citizenship’ against me to cause harm to many others and uses me as a reason for doing so, then what prevents any and every other ‘close knit’ neighborhood to do the same if they find something ‘wrong’ with one of its residents? Why wouldn’t hispanics have the ability to have some form of ‘act’ towards every person of the non-hispanic ethnicity if one community should not like a particular non-hispanic resident in their neighborhood? Sounds more ‘gang related’ doesn’t it?

And how is it that these ‘groups or ethnicities’ would be receiving some form of assistance for them to be allowed to carry out such acts abroad? If they are not receiving ‘rightful’ pay from ‘rightful’ employment, how are they being funded as far as their daily living expenses are concerned?

Would these come in handy?

Okay… so there are some out there who are a little on the ‘stranger’ side of life… But how does that effect every other person who is not this ‘Superman’ or that ‘Lois Lane’?? How is 1 superman and 1 lois lane effecting thousands and thousands of lives and even Countries?

Are people ‘signing’ up to be supermans and lois lanes?

It’s not denial… It’s not anarchy… It’s not Authority (although it could be slightly)… It’s not depression… I really do not know…

It can’t be ‘hate’… It can’t be born with, if it needs to be trained into… I don’t know.

It can’t be Islamization… We already saw how this is not Islam in any way… It can’t be culturalization unless they are beginning a new culture that will separate their parents and parents’ lineage from this ‘new culture’…

It can’t be de-establishing the Established Government because that will put their families in danger and jeopardy which falls back into the first category…

Some parents and grandparents are too aged and tired to ‘fight’ against that which helped them to reach their ‘golden years’… They lived well under that Establishment so why would they see a need to fight against it?

Not every parent or grandparent wants to or has any desire to live as Hollywood celebrity free persons… And not every Established Government wants it either.

So why would anybody ‘force’ that kind of ‘freedom’ upon those that do not want it???

If youths of certain ‘non Hollywood’ cultures desire it, being rebellious is NOT the way to bring their ‘dreams’ into reality…

On the contrary, those ‘rebellions’ may bring ‘wars’… And no one REALLY wins when innocent lives and innocent blood is lost.

Whenever there is a certain doctrine or teaching of any Faith or Religion one is unsure of, a very basic question can solve many of them…

‘How would it have an effect on my mother or father or grandmother or grandfather?’

They are usually the more wiser when it comes to life living. And I’m sure they know about God’s Graces and Goodness also.

But beware of ‘idolatry’. Idolatry does not fit into any form of ‘1 God/Creator’.

Unless they can show basic evidence from their ‘sacred Texts’.

There are many ‘oral’ traditions but only a few written texts.

Living as an ‘atheist’ is the same as living as a polytheist. They both can truly ‘enjoy’ what Life has to offer. Noone needs to be of any faith or religion to enjoy life.

I wonder if Confederated and Unioned U.S. had their arguments over Religious Freedom and Freedom of anti Godly Expression…

Catholics have held to the immorality of contraception for 2000 years. In fact essentially every form of Christianity held to the immorality of contraception until 1930. So regardless if the Church is in the minority or not, there is one group that has remained constant in their teaching and the others let their morality shift wherever the wind may blow.

God is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow so morality (doing what is right and pleasing to God) does not shift based on majority opinions. If God is constant and the teachings of the Catholic Church are constant while others flip flop to the will of man??? Seems one group is aligned with God, and the others with man.

Sorry, I didn´t want to repeat especially to your post, I pressed the wrong button.
I menat in general that the whole discussion about Islam is useless for this issue. Citing the Qur´an isn´t useful for a discussion about birth rates, that was my point 🙂
 
As a culture they’ve lost belief in the sanctity of life and all matters pertaining to it by deliberate political/social engineering.
