Why is incense used in Mass?

Wow! I have never seen anything like that before! All I can think of is the damage it could do if someone got in its path accidentally! I wonder how fast it is moving, it looks to be swinging pretty fast!
 
I just showed that clip to my son and that is exactly what he said!

Before I methyl, my priest managed to land a hot coal between an archbishops feet (and I’ve recovered more than one he’s thrown loose over the years). Just think of what could do with one of these! 😱

Gosh, the airport is only half a mile away . . .
