I have nothing against Islam, even though I try to understand it, I rarely ever find someone who will answer my questions, if any Muslims wouldn’t mine “mentoring” me if you will about Islam, please pm me.
Hi

Kindly visit:alislam.org/
and you will get a lot of information about peaceful Islam and its activities.

Thanks

Hi

Since the advent of Second Coming 1835-1908, a lot of missionary activities are being done by Ahmadiyya peaceful Muslims in the world.

Thanks
Which is unsuccessful in Indonesia, because the pressure even from the Muslims. The problem is, they are targeting the muslims to become Ahmadiyya. If they target the Christian, it may not be that way.

Indonesian Muslims regard themselves as orthodox practicing Muslims. It is a heresy in Islam to proclaim yourself as a Messiah. Ahmadi’s believe all non-Ahmadi’s are heretics. Sort of the Catholics vs the Mormons.

INTERESTING:

Placed them in order, their is more info, but I didn’t want to post a link cause I think its against the rules.
Given the rates you posted, I think it is worthwile to note that Christians added 30 million and Muslims added 24 million for the year in question.

Non-Muslim women must convert to marry Muslim men, Muslim women will, as a rule, not marry a non-Muslim, either.
This is not true. In general Muslim women do not marry non-Muslims. (At least, not if they are practicing Islam.) But Muslim men are allowed to marry Jewish and Christian women without the women having to convert at all. It is only men who have to convert to Islam to marry Muslims. Not women.

I wonder where I got that. Sorry for the incorrect information.

I haven’t studied this topic much, but I suspect Islam is growing in the under-developed world. Somehow it satisfies local spiritual needs better than any other religion. Its teaching that it’s okay to hate and kill your enemy corresponds more closely to Man’s deeper, bestial instincts. This requires less from the believer, in terms of over-coming self and human nature. I mean no disrespect to anyone.
This is kind of amusing to me, because that is not Islam’s teaching. I just spent the last days in an incredibly intense study of the Qur’an.

Islam teaches first that mankind needs to believe–believe in God, believe in Messengers, and believe in the Hereafter. And then that belief should manifest through intentional righteous actions–spending money out of what we love, spending it on relatives, the poor, orphans, travellers, the needy, and to free slaves, for instance, to be good to parents and keep promises, to stay away from immoral behavior like lying, adultery, to be humble. And then Islam teaches that those believers who are doing righteousness should try to enjoin others towards the truth, towards the right, and that they should be steadfast on patience.

Muhammad (saws) himself said that the man who is strong is the one who controls his anger, not the one who shows it.

There’s an example of one of Muhammad’s companions who was fighting a man in battle, and was about to kill him when the man spat in his face. The companion then stopped fighting and told the man to go–the spit in his face had made him angry so he didn’t feel he had a right to fight him anymore.

Islam is so much about denying our “bestial instincts” as you put it, taming our desires. It’s not about hate and killing, as you might have been led to believe.

Right (as long as the women are Jewish or Christian.) A Hindu woman would have to convert.
What would happen to the Hindu woman if her Hindu husband converts to Islam? What if she decides to remain a Hindu? Would her marriage to him become null? Or must she convert also? What if they had children prior to her husband’s conversion? Must they convert too?

Hi

The woman could remain Hindu and similarly the children. The marriage won’t dissolve and would remain intact. It is another thing that later they understand and convert to Muslim.

I love Jesus and Mary as I do love Buddha and Krishna.

Thanks

How then, do you explain this?
A Malaysian Hindu woman began her final bid Monday to get Malaysia’s top court to prevent her estranged husband from converting their son to Islam.http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_/ai_n27465352

The Federal Court’s hearing of 28-year-old Subashini Rajasingam’s case is being closely watched as it is related to the recent controversy surrounding the overlapping jurisdiction of the country’s civil and sharia, or Islamic, laws.http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_/ai_n27465352

Rajasingam’s troubles began nearly five years after she was married according to both civil and Hindu rites.** Her husband, Saravanan Thangathoray, decided to convert to Islam in 2006. He took away the eldest of their two sons, who was three years old at the time, and had him converted to Islam without her consent.**http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_/ai_n27465352

Thangathoray filed for divorce and sought custody of the children in a sharia court, which under the Constitution only has jurisdiction over Muslims.http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_/ai_n27465352

Rajasingam turned to the civil courts for redress. **She wants the court to prevent her husband from going to the sharia court to annul their civil marriage **or to deal with the issue of custody.http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_/ai_n27465352

Rajasingam also wants the court to prevent her husband from converting their younger son who is now two years old.http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_/ai_n27465352

So far the lower courts have rejected Rajasingam’s applications, insisting that she has to fight her case in the sharia court.http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0WDQ/is_/ai_n27465352
This was an actual case, mind you and not some fabricated report as everyone in the Peninsula area were shocked and closely followed the case. This is only one of the many cases reported around the world.

Simply because of the unlimited polygamy and divorces in Islam, a person can marry and divorce many times without any limitation, see this article about a man who married more than 58 times, and this man who married more than 86 wives.

Moreover as most of the members have pointed out, birth rate also is very high, I personally have a colleague at my workplace who doesn’t have a TV, yes no TV in his home (because he is afraid that his wife and kids might watch improper things), anyway, imagine my colleague sitting with his wife alone at home, what they would do to fulfil their time other than making babies 😊.

Hi

Yes, they are in fault, they are doing a wrong thing. It is not supported by Quran/Islam/Muhammad.

If one thinks they are supported by Quran/Islam/Muhammad; one should quote from Quran.

Thanks

Muhammad himself was a violent warlord. He led armies between AD 622 and 632 in the conquest of Arabia. He personally ordered and supervised the slaughter of entire towns and prisoners of war. What a precedent.

Deeds are a better judge of character than words. History shows the violent spread of Islam. Christianity was also promulgated by the sword at one time. Those who deny these historical facts are in a psychological state of denial.

**Christianity was also promulgated by the sword **at one time.
Well that is your comment.

I think you perhaps don’t know that Quran was revealed by God Allah YHWH on the heart of Muhammad bit by bit in 23 years of his life. All basic, important and policy instructions were revealed on him as the events were faced by him; so it is the primary source of Muhammad’s deeds and his teachings , both of them. If you say something you shall have to support for you claims from Quran; that is the only way you can make Muslims understand.

I think you understand now?

I love Jesus and Mary

Thanks
