Why is Islam #1 growing religion?

The Quaran is no more inspired than the phone book. If Islam is peaceful, please expalin:

9/11/2001
The first WTC bombing
The USS Cole
The recent bobmbing in Mumbai
Forced female circumcision
The Crudases (which were in actuality a response to invasion of the Holy Land)
Al-Quaida
Islamic Jihad
Hamas
The Palestinian Authority (Fromerly Palestinian Liberaion Organization)
The claim that Israel does not have the right to exist

there are many others, but that would be tedious.

Nobdoy was instructed to do this by Quran/Islam/Muhammad. They did it on their own, they accepted it; and are being dealt accordingly. It is all politics.

Those who claim that Israel does not have the right to exist, they should prove it from Quran. I don’t think they get any support from them.

One reason is they multiply faster than westerners. The other one is terror and fear. Many people are muslims because they have to. In Saudi Arabia or Iran you can’t admit you are Christian because they will kill you. We don’t know the real statistics about the number of Christians in those countries.

Moreover as most of the members have pointed out, birth rate also is very high, I personally have a colleague at my workplace who doesn’t have a TV, yes no TV in his home (because he is afraid that his wife and kids might watch improper things), anyway, imagine my colleague sitting with his wife alone at home, what they would do to fulfil their time other than making babies .

There are limitations on marriage and divorce, actually.

And I don’t have a TV either, and don’t plan on ever getting one to have in my home either. And trust me, there are plenty of things to fill time with besides marital relations (since I’m not even married, I would know.)

What if i asked two different sheikhs and they both gave contradictory answers? Then what? In the case of the Hindu woman (see post #34), even if she approached an empathetic sheikh, he wouldn’t be able to do much because its his words against the Sha’ria court.

I was under the impression that you were married. I thought you mentioned you had a husband?

Sam_777, she is right you know. Its not right to assume people have sex whenever they run out of things to do if they have no TV at home.
