Why is it acceptable for the Pope to pray with Muslims?

If we as Catholics aren’t even supposed to do yoga, explain to me why the Pope would pray with a muslim? How is this okay, beings they are not praying to the one true God? It is the equivilant as far as I can see, or worse. It would be a sin If I were to go into a mosque and do the exact same thing. Very confused.🤷
