It is NOT reality that some cultures, or even some people, are more attractive than others. What is found to be attractive is largely influenced first by our humanity and then by our culture. It is man who says “______ is attractive, ________ is not attractive”, not God. In fact, I would say God is far, far more concerned with our spiritual attractiveness than with our physical attractiveness. Those men and women praised in the Scriptures, and canonized within the church, are praised not for their physical attributes but rather for their spiritual ones. The Beatitudes and the Virtues and even the Vices have nothing to do with physical attractiveness. But does God pick our features or is it genetic?
It is reality that some cultures are as a whole more attractive that others.
While attractiveness ‘levels’ may still vary amongst people in that culture,as a whole, they are still more attractive.
It seems that genes play more role that God?
Get to know some other men. Two of the most beautiful faces I’ve ever seen:For the most part women seem less superficial/less focused on needs for looks in a boyfriend but men are more expectant of beauty.
Possibly, but the very pretty ones are exceptions, I think. And women also notice very handsome men.Is it that the blokes pay no heed to how all the females there look or is it more that they are paying no mind to how most of them look (ienly paying notice to the very pretty ones)?
That is if we notice such things. I love my wife to bits and I often don’t notice when she’s been to the hairdresser. What chance is there of noticing this with a female colleague? I think that on a day to day basis women are more interested in how other women look than men are.If a guy sees a ‘plainer’ women get a new hairstyle etc then I think he should compliment her,
