Why is Jesus' name not Emmanuel?

In Is 7:14 & 8:8 and Mt 1:23 it says that the Christ name will be Emmanuel. I know that it means “God is with us” but every name means something that is why names are so important. So why is His name Jesus and not Emmanuel? Thanks for your time.
