Why is Jesus' response to Pilate such a good one?

Thanks Steve! That was so interesting! And it really put the story into context for me. I recall the Easter vigil mass, with that length section that is done every year describing Jesus’ time leading up to the crucifixion (I apologize for forgetting the name of that liturgically), and this adds a dimension to that that helps me to envision the whole thing much better.

It was news to me too until I read the book. Puts everything together. Nice bit of research there.
