God did not put Mary in the scriptures just as a proof text, he embellished her, with all the grace that he could possibly given to a human being with the exception of Jesus, in his huamanity and divinity Jesus was in the womb of Mary Two hearts beating as one .
It’s an undeniable fact that the supernatural, took residence in the ark of the new covenant, as Jesus said in John 6: 35 I Am the bread of life. Jesus was at work at the moment of His conception; Luke 1: 39-56.

Hope this helps a little to show Mary was of great importance in the life of Jesus.

Ah … I guess I misunderstood you. I thought you were saying: If someone explained Jesus without mentioning Mary, wouldn’t that offend God.

Touché. If you had said " … would that offend God?" then I probably wouldn’t have bothered responding.

My salvation comes from the Lord. yes she had Him but He was the one who died for my sins. I respect Mary but I love her son.
My daughter married and has a family. I love my daughter and have from the time she was conceived. Now with grandchildren and a fine son in-law she has given me more to love.

Do you love your mother?

When you love your husband does that take away from the love you have for your children?

Does loving your husband enhance the love you have for your children, and vice versa?

Does loving your family, husband, parents, siblings, children stop you from loving Jesus, or diminish your love for God?

The error Protestants make is to think that by loving the Mother of God they take something away from Jesus that should only be given to Him. They see it as a betrayal of Jesus, although this seems stange to a person who knows that love is increased and not diminished.

Does Jesus love His mother? Does He want you to love her or ignore her and call her an ordinary woman? Does He want to include you in all of His life and share with you all of His affection?

Think about it from the other end. If Jesus gives all of His love to the Father (which He does), how is there any left for you? Does His love for you diminish His love for the Father? His will in the plan of salvation is that we live in a communion of divine love. He is like us in all ways, but sin. He is fully man and that means He shares all of our affections and attributes that are not sinful.

Please think about the love Mary had for Jesus by thinking about your mother’s love for you and yours for your children. My friends may love my daughters and grandchildren, but my wife and I love them more. You say you love Jesus. I hope you do and that this love increases. I hope it increases to the point that you love Him as much as humanly possible. If you can get there you will be like Mary His mother.

Would you like to have more love for God? Would you like this love to grow? Catholics have a saying. Love Jesus with the heart of Mary. This is not just a saying. It is something that happens by grace, a spiritual thing. Mothers teach us to love. Jesus’s Mother is no exception.

God bless you.

Of course when we talk about a love for my husband it is way different from the love I have for my three kids. The love I have for each child also differs (one is not greater than the other it’s just they each have different qualities that is special to me). My love for my husband has nothing to do with the love i have for my kids and vice versa ( I guess being divorced and remarried made me weird). Quite naturally my love for Jesus comes B 4 everyone else (a new developement since I am a baby christian).
What I don’t get is why have the rosary and the hail mary’s if we are supposed to petition God through Christ?

Jesus’ love for his father doesnt diminish his love for me because God is love. Loving God enables me to love other’s more ( right? )

I do get what u r saying about loving Jesus with the heart of Mary. Never had it put to me that way before.
