But Jesus looked at them and asked, "What then does this scripture passage mean: ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?
The founder of Christianity is Paul and it is his teachings which have become the cornerstone of the faith.

well his teachings were on muhammads lips as well but anyway… prove it. There is a thread about Paul.

I’m not sure if anyone has pointed this out or not. But Mohammed Ali is the greatest because he stings like a butterfly and floats like a bee. And he’s pretty, oh so pretty.

Sorry, couldn’t resist.

😃 😃 😃

Ah, as a conclusion, Mohammad never was the greatest nor greater than any of the Christian prophets.

Jesus is greater than Muhammad even in Muhammads books. Jesus is the Messiah, He is sinless, He performed miracles, He raised the dead, He gave life to clay birds, He knew the unseen (future), He is alive, He will come again, He will judge.

Muhammad is no Messiah, is sinful and needed forgiveness, performed no miracles, raised no one, gave life to nothing but took lives, did not have knowledge of the unseen, he is dead, will not come back, will be judged.

Add to this that Jesus did not kill people, did not take sexual slaves, did not marry his adopted son’s wife, did not give sexual priviledge to Himself beside others, did not kill those who mocked him, did not lust after married women, was not under black magic not knowing what he’s doing/saying…did not ask people if he is bewitched or not, did not wait for the likes of Waraqa ben Nawfal and Khadija to determine if he is prophet or not.

And so then, since the Creator Himself has said that Islam is the perfect religion for all of humankind and He has indeed promised to preserve it till the Last Day when the world comes to an end, then who are the creations to disagree with Him?
Since the Quran did not come from God, this statement is not pertinent. The Bible tells us that subsequent visits, even by an Angel (such as the Quran claims to have visited Muhammad) and preaching another Gospel are ACCURSED. That is, they are not from God.

Indeed, the very title of this thread is offensive, as are the various pronouncements that Muhammad is greater than Jesus, that Jesus is a prophet, etc., all of which we know to be false.

This is a Catholic forum. Those of other faiths are here as our guests. As such, it is inappropriate for guests to come in to our place and be offensive.

inJesus,

could you expand a little on the ‘black magic’ ?
I think i read previously about something similar but have forgotten.

Respect to all my Christian and Muslim brothers.

**This is not a fair deal. It is lop sided. The bible is not reliable being only written by few people about Jesus. There may not be a word of God in it. There are words of men in it and changing every day with new editions. could you call such things (words of men) as words of god?
Then how could you say that Since the Quran did not come from God, this statement is not pertinent.

That is not possible. You do not recognise Quran as the word of God. So how can there be any dialogue with you !! At least i believe that bible was revealed to jesus in which changes have been made and original is not available. I at least believe in jesus as a prophet of god. But you do not believe that muhammad was an honest man of god.

Do you please see the difference between the stand of a christian like you and a muslim like me?**

If I believed the Quran was the word of God, I would be a Muslim. I am Catholic. The Bible clearly states that gospels preached by others that they claim came from an angel (as Muhammad claimed) are accursed. Therefore, I reject the Quran. I don’t see what the surprise is.

By that reasoning anything the angel Gabriel said to Mary is accursed?

There were no witnesses to Muhammad being given the Koran. He showed up one day with it. That seems a little fishy to someone used to there needing to be witnesses to validate the story.

I am not saying that he made it up at all, but I am saying what is the differance between Muhammid and Joseph Smith?

No. But you would need to actually read and understand the Bible to know that. I’ve given the quotation several times. I’m assuming it’s pointless to give it again. It would appear that there is no real dialog here.

The revelations to Mary also preceded the biblical statement about revelations from an angel. The very question displays a lack of knowledge of scripture.
What difference does that make. Does that mean anything after Gabriel and Mary is accursed? Like what the angel told John in Revelation?

Revelation 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

I don’t think that anyone said that St. John was perfect.

The message, which has been quoted repeatedly already is that should someone preach another GOSPEL ~ that is ~ another faith ~ that they claim came from an angel ~ that Gospel would be accursed. That description fits Muhammad’s story of the source of the Quran, it does not fit the other examples you have cited.

Good Point! Here is another example:

“If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned!” (Galatians 1:9)

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, Islam is a false religion invented by a false “Prophet” preaching violence and murder and practiced by backward and ignorant people. Islam is the enemy of Christ and they have no regard or respect for Christians. We have been at war since the beginning and we will be until they overcome their ignorance. You cannot sugar-coat it, them’s the facts.

No sugar on that.
