No contact is wanted from anyone who posts such filth to others in the name of God as you have. The jabberwocky, hokum and insults you have supplied here are indefensible. I am a dedicated Church member, and would never in a million years join your cult. You and all your partners in crime here make me sick.
RealCatholic and Pat:

Well, the above quote pretty much destroys any hope that SDAs have a sense of humor. Remember how out of sorts Prot got over my garlic joke.

So let’s take stock of what we have learned so far.
  1. SDAs have no sense of humor.
  2. SDAs (at least those present on this thread) cannot or will not answer Pats questions.
  3. SDAs claim Sola Scriptura, but when we try to hold them to it, they tell us it is unbiblical.
Any questions?

Marsha

Failure to understand the concept isn’t a failure on our part.

Pat’s questions have serious flaws built into them that cannot be remedied.

As for having a sense of humor joking about us at our expense isn’t humor–its called bigotry. I don’t tell jokes about Catholics–even the one’s that are sent to me through joke services. Secondly, telling jokes on serious subjects is a very sad and juvenile attempt to mock* when they lack substance.
  • Check that out in the Bible and see which side does the mocking: those who love God or those who don’t.

Yes. One question. What does your Pope say about your “humor?”

Your girl friend is correct. No where in the Bible is man given the authority to change Gods Ten Commandments. Changing them, even a little, is like saying God made a mistake. It’s that simple.

Everybody also knows that what everybody knows ain’t so. I try going to the source instead of lying about them.

"Lay Sister White right to one side: lay her to one side. Don’t you never [sic] quote my words again as long as you live, until you can obey the Bible. When you take the Bible and make that your food, and your meat, and your drink, and you make that the elements of your character, when you can do that you will know better how to receive some counsel from God. But here is the Word, the precious Word, exalted before you today. And don’t you give a rap any more what ‘Sister White Said’ —‘Sister White said this,’ and ‘Sister White said that,’ and ‘Sister White said the other thing’. But say, ‘Thus saith the Lord God of Israel.’ Spalding and Magan Collection
Go to the source!!! Read the Ten Commandments. Not the changed Catholic version. Specifically number 4. And then read the whole Bible and find just one place that gives man the authority to monkey with Gods Law. It is truly that simple. Strip away all the bull stuffing and take it for what it is. You have the truth now. What you do with it is up to you.

You’ve got it! The underlined phrase was totally unnecessary.

**Now why would anyone get mad? How could they? You do realize that SDAs have a great sense of humor! think it is their 14th or 15th Fundamental Beliefs. It is right before or after, "You will pretend to read and understand the Bible and not tell about the “white” beliefs! "

Remember people make jokes about their beliefs all the time. Like their pretending to not follow Betty White. When everyone knos that they do! It is Betty they follow, isn’t it? If I am not mistaken again? I think the Mormons follow Beatrice Arthur, but I may have heard that wrong! . I know us Catholic guys have a thing for Rue McClanahan, she reminds us of Mary Magelain before she met Jesus! 🙂 Anyway, any group that wants to attempt to explain how the sun rose and set three days before God even made them must have a great sense of humor!😃 I mean, who would believe that? 🤷

God Bless**
Who is Betty White? I know of Ellen G. White… I know of no Seventh Day Adventist who puts her above the Bible. I believe you are not well informed. God Bless you as well!

I tell jokes about Catholics. But we don’t take ourselves so seriously.

As for mocking, honey, you don’t know what mockings is until I start, you just think you do. So don’t worry, I have not mocked you.

I don’t remember that he ever addressed humor, but I’d bet he has a good sense of humor. No one with a smile like his can be humorless. Also he likes cats, you can’t like cats if you don’t have a sense of humor.

Falling into a bit of uncharity, are we not? Why are you here, if you want no contact with Catholics? No one coerced you to CAF, did they?

Thanks for that quote. I knew anybody who liked cats had to have a sense of humor.

Of course, Jesus was well known for His sense of humor. Just look at the incident on the road to Emmaus.

My comment was directed at the one individual who was being rude to the Adventists on this forum. Where did I say I didn’t want any contact from any Catholics? Another one of your fish stories coming up I guess…

Ah, so my its my perceptions that are out of whack.
So don’t worry, I have not mocked you.
I didn’t say that you had mocked me personally. However, see the previous remark.

I figured you would find a way to justify your garbage here. Calling it “humor” is a wonderful excuse. And BTW I am not “mad” I am just calling it as I see it. How you can decipher the emotions over the internet, I guess, is the ninth wonder of the world. I don’t know how on earth you expect any Adventist to ever care about what you say, after this kind of “humor.” That “my dear” is not funny.

Prot:

I never expect any Adventist to care about what I say, humorous or otherwise. Sometimes, I hope that an Adventist might care about what God says, without spinning it to mean something completely different, but that seldom happens either.

Marsha

p.s. Jesus did have a good sense of humor.

Yes he did; but you don’t. Jesus would never use SICK humor that degrades others.

At any rate, this thread is not worth the powder to blow it to…somewhere.👍

You never heard of the Golden Girls?

Marsha,

**Isn’t it sad? Sadberry never heard of the golden girls! I figured the SDA always deny Ellen G. White, but might accept Betty because she is so funny. Guess I am wrong. BTW, Peter denied knowing Jesus three times, is there a limit that the SDA can deny knowing Ellen? Did she forgive them for that already, as Jesus did Peter? Or will she get them in eternity for denying the prophet Ellen G. White? Could she put the mark of the beast on them for that? Or is that reserved for us catholics? **As sadberry said I am not very well informed <Wink!>

**Hi Prot 101,👋

How are you? The problem Prot 101 is although you don’t get “mad” you do get rude, The same thing you accuse others of, and by the way. If you go back to the beginning of the thread you were rude first. We just follow your example thinking it was the SDA way and wanting to embrace your culture! Please, take the log out your eye so you can see the splinter in other’s. Humor is humor. 🙂 Saying that SDAs are considered a cult isn’t a joke.😦 That yiou have very strange beliefs that Protestants can’t even believe, and they believe almost anything ,isn’t a joke. 😦 To say that it doesn’t matter what day of the week you wordship God doesn’t matter except to your own church isn’t a joke. :o To believe that Catholics will be marked with the sign of the Beast because the old testament tells the Jews to observe the Sabbath on Saturday and Jesus told Christians to worship on Sunday is a joke!.😃 But Prot 101 the joke is on you! We follow the teaching of Jesus, guided by the HS, while you wander around following Ellen White and other lost prophets. See the difference?**
