Why is the belief in god so important

hmm true my questions are abit blured. perhaps because i have so many. so i will only ask one now.

Dose your religion condem those with different beliefs even though those religions may have similar teachings eg. buddists who give up eveything they want and meditate all day.

Our religion does not “condemn” anyone ever. You will not find anything written anywhere that states a soul has been condemned. Christ, through His Church (CC) has given us the instruction booklet and the teachers to guide us to Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Those who choose to toss out the instructions and ignore the teachers have chosen another path and it is not up to us to decide where that path leads. Our mission, per Our Savior, is to help guide folks onto the path that leads directly to Him in all His glory and fullness.

Buddhists who “give up everything they want and meditate all day” are on a path as well. Their path, however, is not one which will ultimately lead them to God, but rather, to “enlightenment”. Catholics do not seek “enlightenment” for it’s own sake. If any of us are fortunate enough to be enlightened, it is only through God’s grace and is ultimately a way of Him revealing Himself to us.
