Why is the Bible so complex when its message is so crucial?

From what I know of the Father, I would dispute your claim that as a psychologist, he is, and I quote your words here ‘‘whacked out’’ or that he, as per your claim, became a psychologist to, and I quote you again, get ‘‘free therapy’’.

Perhaps try using a small brush next time.

Of course - we are also told by God that, “If you love me You will keep my Commandments”. And it seems that different people have different ideas about just what constitutes those “commandments” and what passes for “keeping” them. 🤷

But - it seems to me (and I’m sure you agree) that Love should be able to overcome these things. For without Love what are we? - we are just a “clanging gong”…

How can you actually believe in this garbage. It is nothing but nonsense and bullsh*it.

Promoting hatred against fellow man and discouraging free thought.

And actually teaching it to young children that its fact.

You didn’t actually answer the question as to how you can identify as Catholic yet also proclaim that Jesus is imaginary.

How is this reconciled in your mind?

I am not catholic. I was previously, however, I have discovered common sense, reason, logic and the simple fact that a 2000 year old book is not evidence to believe in something.

You are aware, right, that Catholicism does not proclaim that a 2000 year old book is “evidence to believe in something”?

And that common sense, reason and logic are MANDATED by Catholicism, yes?
