Why is the news of the conclave Cardinals...

even in small circles of Catholic’s…maybe everywhere…beginning to sound like a political

race? Which candidate is better qualified to serve our personal needs and likes? Who is the

most “likable” …do not mean to offend anyone, but I just returned from a group meeting

and the discussion made me want to run out screaming ( exaggeration )

Really? Is this not a sacred time of discerning God’s will and the Holy Spirit moving upon

the Cardinals? Yes. I am so glad to know they are secluded from “the world” ~~~:gopray2:
 
The secular media is rather silly with their yammering about the conclave. But really, how can these worldly news organizations try to understand the workings of a government “not of this world?”

I have been wondering the same thing. However, the men responsible for choosing the next Pontiff have dedicated their lives to the traditions of the Church and the ways of God. We must trust the Holy Spirit to make His choice clear to them and that they will heed His voice.

Some of this is getting so predictable. It’s nice someone noticed.

HAHA! Love it!

I don’t listen to the secular media bout the Conclave at all. I stick to strictly CATHOLIC sources for the Conclave coverage.
 
They have to make it sound dramatic in order to retain the attention of the popcorn-munching masses. If they said what it really was–a bunch of old men in a closed room writing names on cards–everyone would quickly lose interest, especially non-Catholics who make up the majority of the country.

oh my gosh…how did I miss this reply? ( I didn’t look?) still very funny!! hahaha
and now, months later, we could be having “other” bingo games.
But I need to say, I love Pope Frances!
