I was reading Josh Mcdowells’ Evidence for Christianity. ( I’m not sure of the spelling for the last name) In it he claimed that Josephus’ writings support the fewer number of books in the OTused by protestants, Rather than the Catholic version of the OT… So I was wondering where, when, why did the protestants reduce the number of books in the OT? Also I heard that Luke and the Acts of the Apostles were once one book? If that is true is it true of any other combinations?
