Because they want on the P.C. bandwagon, without stopping to think about what that sort of thing would mean for athletics as a whole…

Or because it is currently chic to be pro transgender, and they think this will increase sales?

What could it mean for athletics as a whole? It can inspire thousands of people of different races, religions, ages, cultures, genders, and various other physical and mental challenges to feel they can have athletic goals, too.

.
Except for that males and females are physically different, and develop differently. There’s a reason there are men’s leagues and women’s leagues, and it has nothing to do with discrimination. If a person who has the genetics of a man, and the physical build of a man compete in a women’s event because he “identifies” as a women, he may have a distinct advantage due to nature strength.

This exact thing has already happened. I believe it was in Seattle. A man, claiming to be a woman, compete in a women’s sporting event and won by a significant margin. There we a big uproar about it.

It is a Swedish company…and a very successful one. They market to their customer base.
