Sorry, but magic underwear is just plain ridiculous. People that believe such rubbish should have more respect for themselves.
  1. They’re not considered “magical” any more so than Catholic scapulars are. The LDS church deplores superstition just as the Catholic Church does.
  2. Your arrogance is astounding. Do you really believe you’re doing faithful LDS people a favor by mocking what they do because YOU feel their practices are “ridiculous” and that they should have more respect for themselves in as much as they don’t even participate in the practice to begin with?
I’ve never found the need to place someone on ignore, but considering your uncharitable nature, and obvious lack of any substance to bring to this thread, congrats on being the first on my list.

Sorry for the derail folks. Back to the WoW discussion…

If what I say offends you, I apologize. But, the fact that you are getting so upset only shows your own pride. Calling me arrogant doesn’t negate the fact that the concept is silly. Perhaps “faithful LDS” will step back, open their mind, and think, yeah that is kinda silly.

jam070406, it’s not silly as much as a remimder of keeping God close to a person and a way to keep modest. I disagree with the theory and backstory of them, but wearing them is not a bad practice and reminds people to be charitable.

Yeah, I apologize. I was joking and it got ugly. My bad. Sorry to anyone I offended. It was not charitable of me. I get irritated at people attacking the Catholic Faith alot on here and I unjustly lashed out. It was wrong. Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa.
I apologize to the guy I also upset. I hope he doesn’t put me on ignore. I offer him my heartfelt apology.

Sorry again,
a sinner.
