When Jesus was crucified, His limbs were stretched out before the nails were driven into the wood. This evil He permitted in reparation for schismatics, who would tear and pull at His Body. On the Cross, His Body did not rip apart, nor was a single bone broken, though some of His flesh was missing and some of His bones were visible. Because of this, we have the assurance that no matter how many leave the Catholic Church, the Church will still remain intact until the end of the ages. The Church is His Body, and this is why the Church is One.

Translation: So, yes, no matter how many people we loose and don’t care about them leaving, we find comfort in the beaten and dead body of Jesus, because that means that the Vatican will still be around.

What is your purpose of your post? Is it an acknowledgement that people are leaving in mass numbers how the Latin Church is loosing out to Evangelicals, that Europe is more atheistic than Catholic, but you cling to this notion its okay that people reject Jesus and Catholicism, because Jesus had his body torn apart and as long as there is Jesus the Church will survive?

Why not take an approach such as this:

Jesus’ body was torn apart, his body pains and suffers more as his children desert him and his Church, only when all men and woman, in unity and in true love for God, return to Christ will his body (the Church) be made whole! Amen.

Your post is this: who cares who leaves, we have the beaten up body of Jesus, yippe that means will always be around.

My post: Christ’s suffering calls us to return to the truth of his love.

Then again, none of this matters to me. But I want to point out how your holier than thou mindset posts these negative who cares who leaves posts.

And don’t claim I’m causing trouble, something or someone who challenges you to think, is causing you trouble.

Divine Mercy Novena:

**“Today bring to Me the Souls of those who have separated themselves from My Church, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion.” **

Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Son’s Church, who have squandered Your blessings and misused Your graces by obstinately persisting in their errors. Do not look upon their errors, but upon the love of Your own Son and upon His bitter Passion, which He underwent for their sake, since they, too, are enclosed in His Most Compassionate Heart. Bring it about that they also may glorify Your great mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Bravo, if I was still a Catholic I would commend you and join in and pray:

Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, LEAD ALL SOULS INTO HEAVEN ESPECIALLY THOSE IN NEED OF THY MERCY.

This is nicer than what you previously posted.
