Why not Sola Scriptura? Sola Scriptura by itself becomes a book of letters subject to anyone’s interpretation, claiming to one’s own authority over all other’s, thus we have many facets of denominational church’s which have branched off from Protestantism and continues to splinter off in diverse communities, inventing new man made traditions to follow, for example; the altar call for one to be saved is never a biblical practice or biblical teaching, denying baptism (rejecting of the sacramental biblical life) which saves you now, rejecting the divine authority and Keys, Jesus gave to Peter and his apostles to exercise in the body of Christ= Catholic Church. This divine apostolic authority and divine keys Jesus gave to His Church has survived (unbroken) since apostolic times till today in our Pope= Peter and Apostolic successors (local Bishop’s).
The bible alone clearly teaches that it is not the bible books themselves that is the Bulwark of Truth. It is the (One Holy Catholic and Apostolic) Church herself, who is the household of God and the Bulwark of TRUTH.
Mystically speaking, a true practicing Catholic Christian cannot never be complete with Sola Sola Scriptura. For She confidentially knows, that if every bible in the world were removed from this earth, God’s Word will always be present in the Catholic Church. For one, the Word of God is personified in the Lord’s Presence at every Mass. God’s Word speaks to us at every Mass, through Peter= present day Pope and her Bishop’s world wide, who all teach the same Word of God unchanged from Sacred Tradition and Sacred Apostolic practice. When at every Sunday Mass all over the World in every Catholic Church the same Gospel is preached unchanged, and it is from the rising of the sun to it’s setting in every place, We the Catholic Church give praise and worship to God and a sacrifical offering that pleases God in His Blessed Eucharist.
You see Sola Scriptura neglects the whole living Personified Word of God in Presence. When words on a page is subject to contradiction and chaos. Sola Scriptura cannot stand alone in TRUTH, when it is the Church, who is the household of God and the Bulwark of TRUTH, amen.
