To me, pigs always look happy…

…Probably because they eat whatever they want and WHEN-ever they want… don’t have a CARE in the world…

The poor things never see what’s coming…

You post reminded me of this:

Barnabas 10:3
Accordingly he mentioned the swine with this intent. Thou shalt not
cleave, saith he, to such men who are like unto swine; that is, when
they are in luxury they forget the Lord, but when they are in want
they recognize the Lord, just as the swine when it eateth knoweth not
his lord, but when it is hungry it crieth out, and when it has
received food again it is silent.

Wow - that is interesting… I’ve never heard that…
Who is Barnabas??
It’s interesting because… well, its a long story, really…
It just seems that a lot of people live their lives not really thinking about God but just the things of the world… We never out-grew the Me Generation… 😦

I quoted from the Epistle of Barnabas, a christian writing from the very early days. It’s anyone’s guess if this Barnabas is the same one mentioned in the New Testament.

IMHO, the “Me Generation” stretches way back to Adam and Eve. We are “of the world” and tend to walk around with some hefty “world-bound blinders” on. We’re sinners. Thanks to Jesus, we have a shot at not being like those pigs in the quote I posted.
Glory be to God!

Also, i agree that the Me generation goes back to Adam and E. But i’ll be that kind of thing is 100 times worse today than it was in the middle ages when most people were Catholic (or they were not Christian at all)… 😦

You have 40 animals too many… 🙂

Just “kidding”… But to me, The only worthwhile animals are the ones u can eat… 🙂

Did you know that the people who live longest (Okonawans) eat a lot of fatty pork?? Nice to know, since that’s my favorite meat…

I never read Charlotte’s web… but non-fictional pigs, i’m sure, don’t know what is coming… 😦

Hehe, pigs are cute!

Babe is one of my all-time favorite movies! Such a sweet film! 😃

Pigs always look happy because the lack the ability to make different facial expressions. Lamas on the other hand can make a bone chilling ‘evil eye’.

Llamas and alpacas hum when they are happy. If you visit them in their barn and they are humming, they are happy and content.🙂
