Why pigs always look happy

Llamas and alpacas hum when they are happy. If you visit them in their barn and they are humming, they are happy and content.

I don’t know about llamas, but CATS seem to be the ones who can give the evil eye, especially when u “tease” them… which, for some reason, i am always tempted to do :whacky:
On the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality test… they ask u if you “like to tease cats?”. I wonder why that question is asked… maybe just to catch u in a lie because elsewhere on the test, the question is asked: “Do you like to torment cats?”
But teasing and tormenting are 2 different things…

Are you a police officer? I was just wondering because I know that law enforcement usually requires Minnesota Multiphasic Personality testing. I am not aware of any other careers that require that test. Although, if you are a fireman, you may be getting those “evil cats” out of trees.

No, i am far from being a police officer… That is one job i don’t believe i could handle (tho it wouild beat being a doctor… all that blood and gore!! )…

Also, don’t get me wrong - i would never HARM an animal… except if i had 2 kill it in order to survive… but fortunately, other people get paid to do that for us… :

I know people who seem 2b such animal lovers… yet this one, well, once she threw her dog into a creek… I didn’t think anything much of it, was laughing even… till i saw how much the dog hated it. I told her to quit but she thought it was funny to keep throwing him in… (i think she was about 10 yrs old, so what can you expect??)…
But anyway, So much for animal lovers. I have other stories like that, but anyway…
I don’t even really like dogs and cats much, yet i would never do that… or other things people do to their “pets”… Go figure…

anyway, there are others who have to take that stupid MMPI test… There is a book out (can’t recall name) that basically says those tests aren’t worth much… More stock placed in them than is warranted, etc… but i didn’t read the whole book, so can’t comment 2 much on it…

Maybe i am scapegoating cats for all the terrible things i’ve experienced in life…
Yet if that were the case, i would be killing them…

Hey, it’s cool. I actually have a biology degree. I do not see you as being cruel. I am not a cat person myself, but I do see the intelligence in cats. They are smart critters.

So, how are cats smart? Do you have any interesting stories??

I always throw my left-over dinner bones, & no-longer-fresh refrigerated meat, etc. outside my fence for this one “stray” (?) cat (and/or whatever else is “out there”) 2 eat…
Most of the time, i do that when the cat is nowhere around…
The cat seemed scared of me @ first, but then just got over it, seemingly “overnight”… I never called 2 the cat or tried to pet it or anything… just dumped the food over the fence and went about my business… but the cat seemed to know that it was me who was feeding it…I mean, there are other neighbors…

That’s kind of smart, i guess… The darned thing seems to appreciate me 4 feeding it… I mean, it started acting, well, friendly So maybe they aren’t just smart, maybe they are capable of saying “thank you”??
