If there is possibility of salvation for non-Christian. Then why Christian preach gospel?

Because that was the mandate of Christ to us when he said to his apostles:

“Go therefore, teach ye all nations; baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days even to the consummation of the world.”

(Matthew 28:19-20, Douay Rheims)

It is necessary to preach the Gospel to all nations even non-christians so that they will know the truths that are necessary for salvation that they may know Christ and his Church and decide to follow him to be baptized and be saved. You didn’t get the real teaching of the Church on that subject, Lumen Gentium said this:

" Those also can attain to salvation who through no fault of their own do not know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, yet sincerely seek God and moved by grace strive by their deeds to do His will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience. Nor does Divine Providence deny the helps necessary for salvation to those who, without blame on their part, have not yet arrived at an explicit knowledge of God and with His grace strive to live a good life. Whatever good or truth is found amongst them is looked upon by the Church as a preparation for the Gospel. She knows that it is given by Him who enlightens all men so that they may finally have life. But often men, deceived by the Evil One, have become vain in their reasonings and have exchanged the truth of God for a lie, serving the creature rather than the Creator. Or some there are who, living and dying in this world without God, are exposed to final despair. Wherefore to promote the glory of God and procure the salvation of all of these, and mindful of the command of the Lord, “Preach the Gospel to every creature”, the Church fosters the missions with care and attention."

(Lumen Gentium, 16)

That is the exemption, since those non christians who no fault of their own do not know the Gospel of Christ or His Church, yet sincerely seek God and moved by grace strive by their deeds to do His will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience. Nor does Divine Providence deny the helps necessary for salvation to those who, without blame on their part, have not yet arrived at an explicit knowledge of God and with His grace strive to live a good life. Whatever good or truth is found amongst them is looked upon by the Church as a preparation for the Gospel., this is called invincible ignorance, meaning it is not their fault that the gospel has not been preached to them. Example if they in their life are seeking to know a God they have not known not contented with the life they have and then suddenly they die. Well of course God will not deny them the salvation they deserve. In fact Saint Paul himself said that:

"For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature those things that are of the law; these having not the law are a law to themselves: Who shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness to them, and their thoughts between themselves accusing, or also defending one another, In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel."

(Romans 2:14-15, Douay Rheims)

That is the exemption, but if the non christian had already heard the gospel truth the still refused to believe in it and refused to be baptized or enter the Catholic Church then they will not be saved, according to Lumen Gentium it says:

"This Sacred Council wishes to turn its attention firstly to the Catholic faithful. Basing itself upon Sacred Scripture and Tradition, it teaches that the Church, now sojourning on earth as an exile, is necessary for salvation. Christ, present to us in His Body, which is the Church, is the one Mediator and the unique way of salvation. In explicit terms He Himself affirmed the necessity of faith and baptism and thereby affirmed also the necessity of the Church, for through baptism as through a door men enter the Church. Whosoever, therefore, knowing that the Catholic Church was made necessary by Christ, would refuse to enter or to remain in it, could not be saved."

(Lumen Gentium, 14)

That’s like saying we have immortal souls so why not let everybody suffer and die. Why sacrifice your life for somebody else? The Answer is love. It is a good thing to do, that’s why you must do it; it’s an act of love.

Invincible ignorance can save someone, but it is not an act of love to intentionally leave somebody ignorant even if it does save them. And even if they are saved it won’t save you. We ought to be in a relationship with God, and thus it is good that we would do whatever we can to reveal God’s light to the world. It would be selfish to hide God’s light.

This sentiment assumes that being a Christian brings no spiritual benefits in this life, and I don’t think that’s true.

  1. God told us to.
  2. Your chance to be saved is greater if you know the truth.
  3. Knowing the truth helps you live a better life in this life.

The Gospel contains the highest good. Mankind can use God-imbued reason to some extent, but divine revelation is top-down and comes through the patriarchs, prophets, and Apostles. It must be preached.

Loving your neighbor means desiring the highest good for them.

Why? Because our Lord did. We are called to emulate Him.
Secondarily, it is both a good deed, required of us, and the Gospel message is the only true joy - true joy - on the face of this earth.

As to non-Christians, God saves whom He will. Yet, the ‘normative’ means of salvation is via the Gospel. There are exceptions, but we cannot assume that any given person will be an exception.

Another aspect is that we possess hope and hope is kept alive by possibility, not probability. The Church’s teaching on non-Christian salvation is as much for us as it is for them.

Because Jesus told His followers to preach the a Gospel to all the nations.

Let me put it this way. Let’s say you have a difficult and terminal illness. People all around you are suggesting various cures. Many of these suggestions are flat out wrong or even destructive to you. Others may help a bit temporarily, and a very few have occasional success, but there is no real solid hope anywhere. But let’s say that I actually know of a cure, a 100% effective cure, and it is freely available to everyone. Why would l keep that news to myself? Everyone should at least know of it and have the chance to embrace it for themselves.

most people don’t really preach the gospels if they call themselves missionaries.
preaching only works if it is helping people understanding the obvious. i mean, a person who all his life lived with the notion that there exists a great spirit to who he prays. a preacher could help him go deeper into his faith. now he could start to understand that he could call it the Holy Ghost.
Preachers often tell such a person that they are wrong rather than helping the go deeper into their faith they have. We all have some faith and need to go deeper into it.

Because the great commission.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them saying All
authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

teaching them to observe all that I commanded you and lo I am with you always even to the end of the age.

Matthew 28:18-20
