If you died today, and God asked you this question, what would your answer be?
Dearest God - You are All Mercy.
I’m such a sinner. And so lax in my Faith.
When I could have done more, I did less.
I was lazy, unkind, selfish, not the Catholic You gave me the grace to be.
I didn’t use the gifts You gave me - to their fullest, if at all.
But if this my dying breath, I beg forgiveness and Mercy from the Only One Who can bestow it. You, Dear God, Father in Heaven.
I denounce all the evil and sin I may have committed that crucified Your Divine Son.
Your Divine Son. Dearest God - it wasn’t until those words, “Your Divine Son”. He Who opened the Gates of Heaven.
Remember me, Dear Jesus, just as You remembered the “The Good Thief” on the Cross - Remember me, Dear Jesus, now that You have come into Your Heavenly Kingdom.
Dear God, Our Lord has told us - in My Father’s House there are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you. Be merciful unto me, I pray that You let me in - not because I deserve it - but because of these words. Amen.
