Why should we need revelation if morality is objective?

It could be universally accepted if it was objective.
It can be demonstrated that there is no universally accepted objective view of morality.
That meas that morality is subjective.
An objective view of morality is subject to individual influences which are subjectively unique. In other words there is no real objective moral reality. There is however a universal sense of innate morality in human nature. This innate morality is universal in that it is a quality of human nature but uniquely defined in each individual from its source and authority which is God and his divine revelation.
Interesting. So there is a conflict between words of God in old and new testaments.
No more so than there is a conflict in my words if I say it is raining today but was sunny yesterday.

Could you please elaborate?

There is not such a thing as universal sense of innate morality. Consider the case of a serial killer.

No it is like saying that it is rainy and sunny today.

Yes, morality is situation dependent.
Only in the abstract. In the concrete, circumstances are specific and all human acts can be judged moral or immoral. Further, there are some acts that are evil in their object and circumstances cannot alter the evil character of those acts.

There’s really no elaboration to be made. If something is objective, then it references an object.

For religious people, revelation is the object.

The object must be universal otherwise we are dealing with a subjective thing.

Who knows which religion is objectively correct?

Beats me.

But you don’t get to choose what it teaches, thus the objectivity.

The Catechism is reflecting the teachings of the Holy Spirit through St. Paul, in Scripture:
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth.
Rom 1:19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them.
Rom 1:20 Ever since the creation of the world his invisible nature, namely, his eternal power and deity, has been clearly perceived in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse;
Rom 1:21 for although they knew God they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking and their senseless minds were darkened.
Rom 1:22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man or birds or animals or reptiles.
Rom 1:24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,
Rom 1:25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever! Amen.
And again:
2Th 2:11 Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false,
2Th 2:12 so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
