Why did you stop using contraception? Or if you haven’t what are your reasons? For those practicing the Catholic faith, I understand that following Christ’s teachings are a reason. I am also interested in hearing of other reasons.
For example, I would not use contraception because I choose to follow my faith, but I also would never use contraception because chemical contraceptives are demeaning to women and dangerous to their health. The numbers also show contraception is poor “protection” from pregnancy and of course doesn’t protect from STDs or related psychopathologies.
Just curious if others have had epiphanies or private reasons to share. This got me to thinking, as recently a young coworker talked about how the Church is more right than she was willing to admit and she has also sworn off premarital sex=no contraception.
