Why the earth not better than 2000 years back?

I,wonder ,why inspite our saviour coming ,redeeming the sinners sacrificing his own life,and giving the key to salvation,the earth remains in the same position,if not worse, with regard to the immoral and criminal activities against man and God,including rejection of God,as existed before that.There is evidently a manifold increase not only in the numbers but in percentage also of such sinners and there is no sign of its decline.Can we genuinely expect that things will improve by the time of His second coming?

There is nothing in the Scriptures that says the world will get better. The only promise is that the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church. The promise is not that the Church will flourish and peace will reign but that despite the evil and sin of the world the Church will continue on.
