We live in unique times–different then at any other time in history.
No one knows when it will all end or when Christ returns. Maybe 10,000 years from now? My point is quit buying those books and just be faithful to God in your life and that's all that matters.
Amen. I agree with every single point. I do not believe in stuff like the Rapture or even a lot of the current End Times prophecies. There are a lot of false ideas floating around and these ideas scare people. Instead of concentrating on God this kind of stuff has a tendency to cause people to turn away from God and live in fear about what might happen. Then it does not. Disappointment. Loss of hope. Anger. Loss of belief in God.People get stirred up by slick prophecy writers who make **lots **of money scaring the daylights out of you. In every generation since the time of the apostles there have been doomsday propagandists and there will continue to be.

It sells books!!! Other than that anyone who can read the Book (Bible) knows what Jesus said when He was asked about when He would be back for the final Judgement. “…,only my Father knows…”, but He admonishes us to be ready at all times which means that our personal end time is always imminent and it is in our interest to be ready at all times. Then by that reasoning, the end times for the final judgement will take care of itself.I’ve noticed a lot of discussion/speculation about the end times in books, movies, magazines, and on this forum lately. My question is, why do you think there is so much focus on the end times? Why do other issues that deserve discussion lack the popular appeal of end times literature? Is interest in the end times increasing, or has it been here all along?
