Hi, I was asked why the priest has a larger eucharist than all the rest of us. Can you go into more detail about this subject. I need to explain it to 9 and 10 year olds.

The host that the priest consumes is larger than the rest so that it can more easily be seen by the congregation. Some priests, including myself, break it up an only receive a part of it.
