Why the struggle with my faith again. After daughter was born I moved forward with my family. No thoughts on church faith Catholcism and the importance of it in my life. Yes I did go to church from time to time and had my child baptized but not the daily struggle Im going through again. I thought that was over yet yr I am again struglling with my faith as if its important to me. I know I go aobut it the wrong way and feel if I go back to church there should be signs from God and I will look for signs Ive made the right decision to come back but the signs are always the other way. Maybe Im wrong to try to be at peace with my faith If Im not able to reconcile then would it not be better to just walk away? I felt fine going to mass on Sundayuntil the priest walked by me and ignored me…so agin is this not a sign I shouldnt be there? Perhaps I want more from my faith than it can give me. Its easier to be agnostic than Catholic…So here I am again at an impass on my faith with no signs from God no direction and no answers to my prayers.

Hi,

Replace the word “faith” with the word “Jesus. Walking away from your faith is actually walking away from Him. We are all about Him. On Good Friday He revealed more about Himself than at any other time. He is God and yet He was willing to suffer and die for us. He is the reason to not walk away. He is the only sign you need. Whether anyone ignores you or not in church is beside the point. Jesus is the point. It’s not a matter of what your faith can give you, it’s a matter of what Jesus has already given you and how you respond to Him.

I will send you a reflection to help you focus on Him each day.
