I take it you’re an atheist? Because if you een hoped there was a Supreme Being, it would follow that God would educate all things according to their capacity. Even a plant is so constructed as to ‘pray’ for potential rain, and root itself firmly in a covenant, in which it will be sustained if it does not let go. But humans have the choice to turn away. Now you’re no different from Catholics, some of whom have told me their will be no more revelations from God. What a pitiful God they have imagined, who won’t even guide this Earth’s people any more, let alone those possibly on planets still forming.

Truth is relavent to the idividual. I do not see your Truth, because I have questions that I can not ask without peole getting emotional. If you want to believe RCC is the True Church, more power to you. Catholic to me is Universal covering all Christian faiths. I have studied history and many things you see, I don’t. It is a question of Faith,whether you believe your way, or not. Some things, there is no physical evidince of. So we as humans have to resort to Faith. For me to disagree with you on this site ( it seems to me) then I’m here to attack your Faith. This is not true, I just had some questions to ask with out others getting so emotional. I have even defended certain historical facts at times. You can debate in a respectful manner, we do it at the race track all the time on set up, track conditions, ect… But here it seems so much emotion, most people don’t want to discuss, they want to attack. If history is so clear why isn’t everyone Catholic or even Christian. Because histoty means His- Story, it is in the view of whom wrote it.

Remember, many people do not study history and also remember that Catholicism is by far the largest grouping within Christianity so many people have accepted Catholicism.

Now we are getting into semantics. Truth is realative to an individuals reality. For you, the Catholic Church is Truth, I think it is great you found your Truth. For me I will never find Truth on earth, because not all has been revealed to mankind, may be it will in the next life.
example : Does any one truly know what it will be like to live in Heaven? No, we can speculate, we can assume, but no one has lived there and come back. I have heard some Catholics say there is Liturgical worship there and others say no way, there is no Liturgy in Heaven. Which way is it, no body knows.
I agree Catholism is the biggest Christian faith, but the vast majority of others are not. I have a problem when people make the claim the Only One or Only Truth, it makes me step back an hesitate. I approach things in a cautious manner. When I state what works for me is my reality based on my observations.There are many things in the Universe we have yet to learn. In the middle ages we thought the earth was flat. We’ve come a long way,but we still have a long way to go.For me to feel I have all the answer, would be pretty arrogant on my part. But heck that just me.

I remember a tornado came to our Kansas town when I was young, and people who had never spoken to each other, came out to work together to re-build and help each other.
This is what will happen on a planetary scale. After the World Wars, there were attempts to set up a mechanism of global peace. Since then, people have sunk into thinking that humanity cannot behave and is congenitally violent; but Baha’is do not accept this.

Even the reluctant nations will be forced to form a world federation to simply run the affairs after a great calamity, but such a unified body will still need “the breath of life” blown into it by those who love God’s Revelation. “They will know you are my followers by your love.”

Hi DavidMark, I agree mankind comes together in the face of disaster natural or man made. The problem is that comming together is sort lived, once things are resolved, humanity goes back to business as usual. I too believe man will come together but it will be at the end, at the second comming of Jesus Christ.I am unfamilar with Bahai, so you have caught me at a disadvantage.

It may seem like no peace if one is going to the front lines in one of many poor Muslim country. In 70 AD it was Rome against one little Judea. Now we have many large Muslim countries that have refused their Messiah, expected in 1260 AH, which was our 1844, when millenial expectation was high for the return of Christ because of Daniel’s 2300 “days” prophecy. (456 BC + 2300 = 1844)

This is one of the challenges facing the world, trying not to enflame the radical islamists! Here are some of my thoughts:
Can you tell me what sort of process can even be started to deal with issues like this on a global scale?

From my perspective, Baha’u’llah is the Law-Giver, and anything connected with law of any sort, from any Dispensation in the past needs to be “reviewed” by Him. There is no God but God; and there is no other Court to go to, even for Muslims, who mistakenly think Islam is the last Revelation and they are the last religious community ever!
God will always weigh His communities. The people of Earth have been issued a subpoena, that they cannot ultimately avoid. It will take the concerted cooperation of the other nations of the world to counter the dangerous mind-set of radical islamists, on many issues, not just this one. Eventually organized women will be instrumental in defying war, injustice and male chauvinism, and that is why I invoke Lysistrata.

Many times, when people deny a certain authority, they mock it, like children, saying ‘What are you gonna do about it?’ and "What do you have to back it up?’ Fine, let them throw out the baby with the bath water, when they think Baha’i is an irrelevant off-shoot of Islam. It is the only remedy, not only for islamic extremism, but for others as well.

I tell ‘Muslims’ there is no way they will win over the Christians as long as they deny the Crucifixion. I tell Catholics there is no way they can win over the Muslims as long as they worship the Mother of God. ‘There is no place to flee to’ except the Truth! The Chinese, in general, don’t care about either issue, but require another approach completely, and who else but the Lord would know how to gather together the tribes of men in the quickest, most efficient method possible? Because time is running out.

This was the case in the OT when nations defied the Lord, and it is the case now as well. Having established the Ark the way He wants it, humanity will incur retribution for mocking the Lord, and invites its’ own suffering by refusing its own safety! They deny that the result of their refusal will be hell. Either in this world or the next, they will hear the words:
‘O concourse of the heedless! I swear by God! The promised day is come, the day when tormenting trials will have surged above your heads, and beneath your feet, saying: “Taste ye what your hands have wrought!”’

But I see the thousands of people I have warned lightly dismissing what I have passed along, and insisting on their right to rush on to their idols. Remember when the tornado came, people who had never spoken to each other came out to rebuild together? After the Calamity has passed, there will be much less argument.
