Why this was the Sabbath changed to Sunday?

In the Bible Saturday was always the Sabbath the Lord celebrated. I’m Catholic and wondering why this was changed to Sunday and for what reason. I find this somewhat unnerving since Jesus always tells his people to keep the Sabbath. I don’t find anything in God’s word about changing it to a Sunday. An explanation would be appreciated.
