HAVING AN EAST AND A WEST CHURCH, IS THAT NOT LIKE THE BAPTIST AND METHODEST? If we or they east and west can not agree on the power of the Pope, how can we be one church?

Hi,

Both the Eastern Catholic Churches and the Western Catholic Churches are under the pope in Rome and are one in what they believe. The Eastern Orthodox Churches are not in union with Rome and are not Catholic Churches.

Methodists and Baptists differ in what they believe and are not united under a common authority. There only authority is Scripture which they interpret differently.
