In the Haydock commentary on 2 Corinthians 12:21, there is a comment according to St. Augustine that the Greek words Ton me metanoesanton speaks of doing great penance, not just repentance.
The Douay-Rheims translation reflects this.
But when I go to the online Greek interlinear Bible, the phrase seems to be worded kai me metanoeo.
Why the difference in Greek phrasing here? Are they different dialects?
