Why was i granted graces through mary?

Helllllo !

I just broke up and prayed the rosary 3-4 times today and yesterday.

Immediately i felt a difference in myself. The way i could control my tongue from lose talk , not over eating , not looking at the opposite gender , strength to accept the grief.

Praying to Jesus and God did grant me graces but through the rosary it was so quick and abundant. I did a 9 hr novena and the prayer got answered some hours later. I have never felt so much love for our BVM.

So my question is , praying the rosary seemed different than praying to God straight for graces. Why is this so?
 
Theological knowledge wise, there are better people to answer this question and I hope they chime in. However, if I had to hazard a guess, I’d say that sometimes a person just needs their mom.
 
Therefore, build a more intimate relationship with GOD through Mother Mary. As long as you put GOD as your top priority in life, the rest will follow suit. God bless!

I have to clarify , i have always put God first. Started my devotions to mary a few months after my revertion back to the faith.
 
Mary leads us to Jesus. I hope you don’t have a problem with the mother of God.
 
Because God honors his mother. Because God is so very humble that he hides in the Eucharist and hides behind his Mother when he dispenses graces. God wishes that we love our family which includes our Mother and the saints. Now you do! We are a family, including those in heaven while we are here on earth.

We don’t know why, but it pleases the Lord to grant us graces through intercession of saints. Don’t stop praying or overthink this, accept all the help you can get from Heaven.
 
Sounds like your disposition to receive graces has changed… God grants grace to those that ask and are disposed to receive
 
Gabiafterhours on youtube distributes scapulars via a tip. Would you think that those non believers would be misled?
 
Its so easy to project that the title mother of God means Mary is higher than God. I dont think that was what the church fathers made out of it.

In all things, Mary works with, through, and under her Son, completely dependent on Him. She is a wonderful intercessor.

So right… The title Mother of God is meant to reinforce that Jesus is is God, not that Mary created God.

Mary was a human…as such she is much closer to being like us, than being like God. Like St Montfort said (and I paraphrase) compared to God, Mary is nothing.
 
Random question : is it true i cannot pray the rosary if i commited a mortal sin of making out with somebody.
 
Her soul “magnifies the Lord” as she herself declares (Luke 1:46).
