The fact that they didn’t describe it is just as interesting in itself. If it was fiction, don’t you think they’d like to be more imaginative about it… right at the climax of the “novel”?

And that sequel! Boy. They even died horrible deaths, maintaining that Jesus was risen. Poor Bartholomew had it the worst. He was flayed alive. I wonder if the “royalty check” on that Gospel novel was all that worth it.
 
Over 500 people saw him at one time, I don’t think it was very hidden.
 
I am not a reader/joiner so I’ve foregone the article.

Consider what transpired.

Was everything Jesus did about “show and tell?”

Why was Jesus’ Transfiguration witnessed by only three of His Disciples?

Why did His Ascension take place prior to the Coming of the Holy Spirit?

Why was the Holy Spirit only Given to the Apostles and those that were with them (200 in total)?

Why did Jesus did not Commission His personal Biography or the Writings of the New Covenant?

It is absurd to pretend to demonstrate fault/inconsistency with such claims… it is as absurd as those who want to remove the term Virgin from the prophecy about the Incarnation of the Word with the argument that the Greek/Hebrew term means young woman not virgin.

Ask the writer/s of the article why is it that the only witnesses of the Resurrection never denied it?

Christ’s birth was a “hidden” event, witnessed by only a few. His life for the first 30 years was a “hidden” event. The town in which he lived was so small it could be considered “Hidden” by the standards of the time. His ministry wasn’t to the world at large, but just a small middle eastern country, a country “hidden” by the much larger world at the time.
Much of Christ’s life was hidden. By design, maybe. Did God understand that either Christ’s life and message would be lost in a much larger societal context. I think Christ’s metaphor/analogy of the mustard seed speaks to this idea of why the event that was Jesus the Christ 2000 years ago is aprpros. From the smallest seed, a mighty tree grows.
